One of the rarest and most interesting Disney pieces we've had the privilege to handle, offered here is the original 28-page premiere program for the formal debut of "Fantasia", held in New York City in 1940. Measuring 9.5" x 12.5" and featuring the artwork of noted artist Gyo Fujikawa on the cover, this program was produced in limited quantities and given to select guests who attended the historic debut of the Disney classic film.
Highlighting this piece is a beautiful fountain pen autograph from none other than Walt Disney himself, ideally placed by Disney on the front cover. Adding to the desirability of this relic, in addition to Disney, it has been signed by seven (7) key artist and crew members who worked on the film, including:
-Bob Broughton (Disney Legend; Camera Dept) - a pioneering camera effects artist for Walt Disney productions who devoted his skill as a camera effects artist to nearly every Disney motion picture from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" in 1937 to "The Black Hole" in 1979. In 1940, as one of two operators of an advanced camera and crane, Bob transferred to the newly formed special photographic effects department shooting effects for Fantasia. These included the transparent flying ghosts featured in the film's "Night on Bald Mountain" sequence.

The program does feature some assorted handling wear including ink staining on the inside opening page along the top and the expected scattered impressions on the cover and inside pages from handling. In overall very good condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
