Roger Maris to this day is considered by many the real single season home run king, lighting up the baseball World in 1961 by hitting "61 in 61", eclipsing Mantle & The Babe in the process. Despite the fame of becoming the single season home run king, Maris would often step away from the limelight, even during autograph request. Offered here is a rare 8" x 10" color magazine image of the Yankee slugger that was signed for some in attendance at the National Sports Collectors Convention in the early 1980's. Signed boldly in blue felt tip marker "Roger Maris." Overall in fine condition. Full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
