Frank Sinatra was much more than a world famous entertainer. The "Chairman of the Board" was also a savvy business man, as evidenced here in this lot. The 4-page document offered here is entitled "Minutes of Special Meeting of Board of Directors of Puccini, Inc." and includes a binding agreement between Sinatra and a gentleman by the name of Hy Handwerker. Manager Hank Sanicola starts the meeting out by submitting his resignation as President and Director of Puccini, Inc. The rest of the document is essentially documenting a stock transfer, with the contract stipulating that Sinatra was to give Handwerker an option to buy 223 shares of stock in Puccini, Inc over a period of time. Puccini's was a notable Hollywood eatery that was owned by Frank Sinatra & Peter Lawford. The 4-page document is typed on onion skin paper and stapled in the upper left corner. The pages offer insights into the behind-the-scenes people, politics and finances of Sinatra's life. It is signed by Sinatra with a sharp black ink signature.
