At ASU, Tillman thrived on the field. The linebacker helped his team to achieve an undefeated season and to make the 1997 Rose Bowl game. He won the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year and was selected as the ASU Most Valuable Player of the Year in 1997. Tillman was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the 1998 NFL draft. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2002 and was killed in action in 2004. Offered here is a laser-engraved signature by Pat Tillman, beautifully framed with his commemorative Sports Illustrated cover front and center, surrounded by both a photo of Tillman in his ASU uniform and one in his Army Ranger uniform. A beautiful display piece for any military or football collection.
