Babe Ruth’s exploits on and off the baseball diamond remain the stuff of legend after nearly a century’s passing. His towering home runs, his role as savior of the sport following the Black Sox scandal of 1919, his remarkable rapport with his youngest fans, and his robust, good-natured persona ... all of these qualities, and more, come home to the observer at once upon first sight of the boldly penned original hand written item by the Babe. While Ruth did sign quite a bit, hand written items in any form are considered the utmost rarity. This original 3" x 5" 1942 post card has been signed "Babe" & hand written in black graphite pencil by Ruth saying hello to a friend in California's kids. Overall in fine condition, professionally framed & matted in a 16" x 20" frame.
