Confederate General and commander of the Army of Northern Virginia, arguably the most brilliant commander of field armies in American history. Partly-printed document signed by the commander "R. E. Lee" as president of Washington College June 18, 1868. The item has been professionally framed & matted to an impressive overall size of 18" x 24". Overall in fine condition with minor fading to the document. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity.
