The New Nine, the second group of astronauts selected by NASA on September 17, 1962 would prove to be a vital bunch in global history. With members such as Neil A. Armstrong (Apollo 11 & Gemini 8), Frank F. Borman, Jr (Gemini 7 & Apollo 8), Charles "Pete" Conrad, Jr (Gemini 5, 11, Apollo 12 & Skylab 2), Edward H. White, II (Gemini 4 & Apollo 1) and others, the group would accomplish 27 missions while sadly losing two members to aviation/space accidents. Offered here an original 8" x 10" NASA photograph signed & inscribed by James A. Lovell. Lovell signs & inscribes, "To Grace, Best Regards, James Lovell." Overall in fine condition with minor handling wear.
