Two of the greatest names in the game of baseball, Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, have scripted their names on the offered Official National League baseball. Situated upon the sweet spot is Ruth's curvaceous, black fountain-pen signature and on an adjacent panel is Gehrig's flowing autograph, also scripted in black ink and accompanied by an inscription in his hand. The white, intermittently and lightly soiled sphere features well-preserved manufacturer's stampings with alternating blue and red laces. A quintessential rendering of the magnificent Ruth/Gehrig signed tandem. Ruth's autograph has achieved a grade of 4, Gehrig's a 6, and the baseball itself receiving a 5, culminating in the item as a whole being graded EX 5.5 by the experts at PSA/DNA.
