This letter, dated March 2, 1905, is on White House letterhead from Roosevelt's time as President. It is written to Mrs. James A. Gary and reads: "I think you for the two novels which you have been so kind as to send me. You are very good to have thought of me, and I appreciate it. Will you give my warm regards to Mr. Gary? I hope he will soon be all right. I need hardly say how much I enjoyed the privilege of taking you in to dinner at Secretary Wilson's Dinner." He has signed at the end in fountain pen ink. There is one horizontal fold with overall creases and light toning to the edges, but in overall fine condition. Accompanied by full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
