Offered here is a Presidential Military Appointment dated March 25th, 1847, and has the original seal still intact. Polk is appointing Isaac Brown the First Lieutenant in the First Regiment of Artillery. It is also signed by Secretary of War, William L. Marcy. The document measures 14.5" x 18" and is in overall fine condition, with vertical and horizontal folds and some very light toning. This item is accompanied by a Full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
