As we all know, three-time Major Champion Payne Stewart passed away in October 1999 - just a month after his United States team won the '99 Ryder Cup in dramatic fashion. We've seen a couple Payne Stewart autographs on multi-signed 1999 Ryder Cup flags, but did a single-signed example exist? Well, now we know the answer. This is an authentic, official 1999 Ryder Cup flag, which contains an exceptional autograph of the late Payne Stewart, who apparently autographed this flag either during the tournament or shortly after.
