Offered here is an original print with a glossy finish, depicting Marilyn Monroe in the Gladstone Hotel in NYC (where the star briefly lived) wearing a black gown, black gloves, and a white fur coat, signed in blue fountain pen ink in the upper right. The revere has a stamp reading, in part, "This is a Kodacolor Print...Week Ending March 12, 1955." This photo came from the personal collection of James Collins, one of the "Monroe Six" - the group of young fans who followed Marilyn around NYC so often that the star ended up knowing them all by name and allowing them special access to her, such as letting them take countless pictures and giving them numerous autographs. The autograph has some skipping in the pen ink but this one-of-a-kind photo is too nice to pass up! Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
