Still reeling from the death of their bassist Cliff Burton in 1986, the group picked up the emotional pieces of Burton's tragic passing and moved forward in 1987, replacing Burton with Jason Newsted and quickly hitting the studio to record a cover EP entitled "Garage Days Re-Revisited". Offered here is a 27" x 21" promotional poster issued by Elektra Records to promote the the EP's release. The poster is nicely signed in black felt tip marker ink and features great "vintage" Metallica autographs from the time period. Featured signers on the poster include James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich and Kirk Hammett (who adds "Fuck!" with his signature). The poster is not signed by James Newsted (though he is a great signer and could be added easily should one be motivated to do so). Poster exhibits some moderate handling wear along the edges from likely being displayed in a store and has a tear that has been repaired with tape on the left side that does not affect the signatures or the poster's overall fine appearance. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
