Ott played his entire 22-year career for the New York Giants from 1926-1947. He was one of the most feared power hitters of his time, leading the National League in home runs six times, and he was the first National League player to hit 500 home runs. A 12-time National League All-Star, he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1951. Ott died in an automobile accident in 1958 at the age of 49, making his signed material an always desired commodity. Offered here is a fully colorized 8" x 10" magazine photo of Ott in his uniform. Signed nicely by the player in blue pen, the photo has been matted nicely with a laser cut Giants logo. The photo has horizontal and vertical creasing from being folded but the beautiful matting and rare graded MINT 9 signature detract from that nicely. In overall fine condition and ready for display. Accompanied by a full Letter of Grading and Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
