The year 1920 would serve as one of the most important in not only MLB history, but Yankee history as well. Babe Ruth would be sent from the Boston Redsox's to the New York Yankees in trade, one that is still questioned to this day. Essentially ending Ruth's pitching career, the Yankees thought it to be best that he focus on hitting, and boy did that work out. Relics from Ruths early days with the Yankees and Redsox's are extremely rare given he wasn't yet at super-star status. This tremendous offering embodies a youthful quoted Babe Ruth signature, quoted, on the sweet spot by Ruth during his humble start with the club that would mold his career, the New York Yankees. In black ballpoint the "Babe Ruth" autograph has stood the test of time on this off-white official American League Ban Johnson sphere. Easily one of the strongest early career singles you will find on the market! Overall in fine condition with minor areas of toning. Authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA) with a full letter of authenticity.
