To many, Walter Johnson is considered one of the most renowned pitchers of all time, along with a very elusive autograph! The Big Train hand wrote & signed this October 28, 1940 personal bank check in blue ink for a total of $14.50 to C.E. Hood. Overall the check remains in fine condition with some handling wear including a slight fold to the top right corner and general bank cancellation stamps to the front and reverse. Johnson's signature stands out boldly! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
