Superb one-page letter sent during his tenure as Governor of Arkansas, Office of the Governor official letterhead, September 28, 1984. Clinton pens a letiter of appreciation to a friend/supporter who sent his congratulations for his election win. Clinton writes: "Dear Andrew - Thank you for your message of congratulations. A successful campaign could not be waged without the support and encouragement of friends, and it's a great joy to be able to share the victory with you. I am grateful for your support and friendship. I look forward to hearing from you throughout my next term as Governor." Clinton also adds a handwritten postscript stating, "Don't give up on The Party - we're coming back", presumably in reference to the Republican Party's reign (and Democratic Party's downfall) of the federal government. In excellent condition and accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
