Mantle is regarded by many to be the greatest switch hitter of all time and one of the greatest players in baseball history. In his storied 18-year career with the New York Yankees, he was a 7-time World Series champion, a 16-time American League All-Star and 3-time MVP winner including the Triple Crown in 1956.
