Muddy was one of the most influential blues players in history and was known as the father of modern Chicago blues. His influenced reflected all aspects of the music industry- jazz, blues, rock n’ roll, etc. The Rolling Stones were named for one of his songs and Muddy signed Chuck Berry to his first record contract. “They Call Me Muddy” record album signed on the back album cover in black ink with a Nm to Mint signature.
