This one of a kind hand-signed and typed contract, dated May 22, 1947, features fascinating terms and conditions for one of the more well-known of Dorothy Lamour's "On the Road to..." movies - "Road to Rio". The 32-page contract lays out her $8,333.33 per week payment for 12 consecutive weeks, with a clause stating $10,416.66 per week for 12 weeks for the next photoplay - pretty good pay for 1947. Lamour was known as a pin-up girl and big band singer during the 30s and 40s. Her amazing sales of wartime bonds surpassed $300 million, earning her the nickname "The Bombshell of Bonds". Her green ink signature, as well as the Paramount Executives featured, appears mint. In fine condition. Accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA.
