This original black & white portrait photograph of Boris Karloff, best known for his recurring role as Frankenstein in the original films of the 1930s, was taken by esteemed Broadway photographer of the early 20th century, Florence Van Damm. It has been signed by Karloff in black steel tip, "Sincerely, Boris Karloff." The photograph has appropriate stamping from the Van Damm Studios on the back and has a press release advertising Karloff's appearance in the new film "Arsenic and Old Lace" (released in 1944) affixed to the reverse as well. Overall in fine condition with some paper remnants on the back from previously being affixed to a backing. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity form PSA/DNA.
