This 14" x 16.75" document was signed by William McKinley during his time as governor of Ohio, on April 18, 1895. The document appoints Benjamin A. Marks as Justice of the Peace in Big Island Township of Marion County for a term of 3 years. The document is countersigned by Samuel Taylor as Secretary of State. The original gold seal of the state of Ohio is affixed in the lower left corner. The document exhibits general handling wear and some wrinkling, with some tearing at the edges. Overall this document is in good condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
