Beloved vaudeville and stage performer most known for his performance as "Scarecrow" in The Wizard of Oz, Ray Bolger, has signed this vintage black & white photo of himself as the Scarecrow, along with the iconic characters Dorothy and Tinman (and don't forget Toto!), on the Yellow Brick Road. Making the piece even more desirable, he has added the unpersonalized inscription "Best Wishes from the Land of Oz - Ray Bolger - The Scarecrow". Signature and inscription have been accomplished in black ink. The tail end of Bolger's last name, as well as his "Scarecrow" inscription, have slight smudging (perhaps due to Bolger's left-handedness). In fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
