From the man best known for "War of the Worlds", offered here is a two-page contract for another "Worldly" endeavor by Welles. This document is a brief letter of acknowledgment betweeen London Film Productions, Ltd. in which Welles acknowledges the receipt of $33,524.73 as advance payment for his involvement in the production of the "Around The World" TV mini series. Dated May 28, 1946, the document outlines terms pertaining to the advance and is signed by Welles at the conclusion in black fountain pen. Some light handling wear and toning along the edges, otherwise fine. "Around The World" would be produced not long after but not released on television until nearly a decade later in 1955. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
