Joe DiMaggio flat out refused to sign bats when the autograph craze began to take shape. This left a severe dearth of signed bats for the heavy demand which ensued. DiMaggio finally relented and did a number of bat signings but it never satisfied his throngs of fans. Joltin' Joe carefully signed his name across this Louisville Slugger bat in 10/10 blue felt tip. He added a personal touch by inscribing "Yankee Clipper" as well. Numbered 126/361. A Yankee Clipper letter of provenance and sticker help authenticate the signature. Authenticated by James Spence Authentication with a full letter of authenticity.
