Despite being born into Christianity in Los Angeles as a child, Marilyn Monroe would decide to change her faith once tying the knot with Arthur Miller, a man devoted to the Jewish faith. Two days following the marriage on June 29, 1956, Monroe would complete her conversion to Judaism, a highly controversial move at the time. Even after the marriage fizzled out in 1961, Monroe would keep her faith to the Jewish religion until her untimely death in 1962.
