Despite only being together as a band for roughly two years (1966-1968), Cream’s impact on psychedelic rock reaches further than some bands' whole catalogs, with chart topping hits such as: "I Feel Free" (UK, number 11), "Sunshine of Your Love" (US, number 5), "White Room" (US, number 6), "Crossroads" (US, number 28), and "Badge" (UK, number 18). Cream's breakup was officially announced in July of 1968 due to what Clapton would describe as “its members showing off “-- an almost unnatural group of extraordinary talent between the three members. Part of the initial breakup was due to an ongoing feud between Ginger Baker & Jack Bruce, as these musical masterminds would butt heads over ideas & solos. To this day, Baker remains bitter over the band's break up & for that reason, dual signed items by these two band members are considered extremely scarce. With the first member of the mega group passing in 2014, many have been left wondering what could have been for such a short lived band. Offered here is a P-bass model pick guard signed in bold felt tip marker by the uncommon pairing of Jack Bruce & Ginger Baker. Overall in fine condition. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a certificate of authenticity.
