Zack Greinke had a rocky start to his career due to battles with mental health, but when he returned to the Royals in 2008, he developed into one of the top pitchers in the game. In 2009, he appeared in the MLB All-Star Game, led the major leagues in earned run average, and won the coveted American League Cy Young Award. These blue and black Nike cleats were worn by Greinke during that fateful season and the pitcher went onto sign each cleat in blue felt tip marker. The shoes still show signs of dirt from the d diamond, specifically on the toe of the right shoe, presumably from being dragged on the mound during each pitch. A great relic for the Greinke fan! Accompanied by a COA from Steve Grad/Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
