With the autograph business really taking off in the mid-to-late 1980's, items signed by some of the bigger names, including Mantle, prior to that time are considered a rarity. This EARLY vintage 1950's Official League baseball serves as one of those rarities. One of the only early career Mantle signed balls we have ever offered, Mantle has signed on the sweet spot with the inscription "Best Wishes, Mickey Mantle." Overall in in fine condition with some toning and discoloration, as expected due to the age of the ball. Authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA) with a full letter of authenticity.
