Offered here is a Bank of Kinderhook check handwritten and signed at the bottom by Martin Van Buren. Van Buren's handwriting exhibits some shakiness and the ink has smudged in some places. The check itself exhibits uneven edges and some paper loss. Early Presidential signed checks are rare - this is the first Van Buren signed check we have ever offered!
