George Washington's contribution to the foundation of the United States of America cannot be overstated. Something else that can't be overstated is the rarity and investment potential of his autograph. With virtually everything bearing his penmanship being absorbed by museums and institutions, Washington's signature has been elevated to the mythical status that it so properly deserves. With that said, we are proud to present this example of Washington's penmanship. Presumably extracted from a colonial document, this 2" x 3" clipping dates in 1774, just two years before the birth year of America! Signed in bold black ink by the future President, adding a desirable "G.O. Washington" signature variation along with writing in an unknown hand. Overall in good condition with minor discoloration, paper loss & handling wear. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity.
