The Beach Boys' 1966 album release, Pet Sounds, is regarded by musicologists as an early concept album that advanced the field of music production, introducing non-standard harmonies and incorporating elements of pop, jazz, classical, and the avant-garde. Brian Wilson's orchestrations mixed conventional rock set-ups with elaborate layers of vocal harmonies, found sounds, and instruments never before associated with rock (such as bicycle bells and Coca-Cola cans - not to mention flutes and string sections). The Wrecking Crew was a backing band who helped the Beach Boys in songwriting for the album. Offered here is a signed pressing of Pet Sounds with autographs from both The Beach Boys and The Wrecking Crew in blue and black felt tip markers. Signers from the Beach Boys include Brian Wilson (signed twice), Al Jardine, Mike Love, and Bruce Johnston. Signers from The Wrecking Crew include Glen Campbell, Frank Capp, Hal Blaine, Don Randi, and Jim Gordon. A very unique collection of autographs from the Beach Boys and their collaborators! In fine condition with light surface rubbing. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
