One of the greatest players of all time, Frank Robinson is the only player ever to win league MVP honors in both the National and American Leagues. He is also a Triple Crown winner and at the time of his retirement, had amassed the fourth-most career home runs (he is currently 10th - no small feat!). Offered here is a Hillerich & Bradsby R186 Frank Robinson professional model bat that remains un-cracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding use by Robinson circa 1973-1974. Some light grain swelling from repeated ball contact is visible on the barrel, as well as ball marks and stitch impressions throughout. Cleat marks and green bat rack streaks are also present. There is a light coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The model number and Robinson's number "20" are both present on the barrel. Incredible use from a legend in the league! The bat has been given a grade of GU 9.5 from John Taube/PSA.

UPDATE: This item was signed by Frank Robinson on August 3rd, 2018 at the National Sports Collector's Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. Robinson has added the inscription "73-74 Game Used" along with his signature, all in black felt tip marker. The autograph will be accompanied by a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
