Stellar Game Used Bat from One of Jeter's Finest Hitting Seasons!

An important season for the Yankee captain, one best remembered for "The Dive," a spectacular catch in the third base stands that ended a Red Sox threat and left Jeter bruised and bloodied at the conclusion. Though the future Hall of Fame shortstop slumped at the onset of the 2004 season at the plate, he soon caught fire and posted some of his greatest power numbers, including a career-best 44 doubles and second-best 23 long balls.

The outstanding use on the presented signature model Louisville Slugger P72 was clearly responsible for some of those tallies, with multiple ball marks and stitch impressions coating the barrel. Cleat and weighted donut marks likewise appear, as does a heavy coat of Mota stick at the handle, which bears a slight crack that retired the lumber and accounts for the half point lost in the otherwise un-improvable near perfect specimen with GU 9.5 rating. Length 34 inches, weight 31 ounces.

Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity & Grading from game used bat expert John Taube/PSA/DNA, with Taube bestowing the bat with a stellar grade of GU 9.5.
