Walter Payton's relevance to the sport of football is undeniable, and shortly before his death in 1999 he was ranked as number 8 on The Sporting News' list of the 100 greatest football players of all time. Any game worn jersey from this iconic star is worthy of the finest football collections. Offered here for your bidding pleasure is a blue home mesh gamer worn by Sweetness during the 1985 "Super Bowl Shuffle" era. The style is Payton's most recognizable, with white and orange screenprinting announcing his immortal number "34" on the chest, back and sleeves, and "Payton" screend in similar fashion across the rear nameplate. Sleeve striping includes the appropriate memorial to George Halas (GSH) on the left and proper Wilson size tagging is on the tail. Overall in fine condition with light use.
