Easily one of the most recognizable characters of all-time, The Tramp would be played by Charlie Chaplin spanning the course of several short films & even musicals. Chaplin would embrace that role here on this rare 8" x 10" black & white photograph of Chaplin as the Tramp, signed by the mime with a hand drawn sketch of the famed character and an inscription in French in bold black steel tip. Sketches of The Tramp in any format are rare, but this is the first we have ever offered on a photograph of The Tramp. Overall in fine condition with minor handling wear and surface impressions.
