Two eras of Yankee greatness unite on this vintage Sport Magzine, with Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle both signing the front cover in blue felt tip markers. This is an unlikely and very rare pairing, as unknown to many, an old grudge that was upheld for decades led the two Yankee legends to despise each other. Because of this, they were both reluctant to sign together. The September 1961 magazine exhibits moderate handling wear, especially to the spine, but remains intact. Both signatures have been graded a MINT 9 and the item is accompanied by a full Letter of Grading and Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
