Considered by many to be one of the greatest U.S. Generals of all time, Ulysses S. Grant would see his rise through the ranks all the way to President of the United States. A graduate of West Point, Grant started his services in the Mexican-American War and continued onto the Civil War, taking control of heated Kentucky and most of Tennessee for the Union. Offered here is a beautifully signed and inscribed album page, reading "Very respectfully your obt. [unknown] U.S. Grant, General". The 2" x 3.5" cut has been matted along with a photo of Grant to an overall size of 12" x 16". In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
