Offered here is a 16" x 20" one page appointment that has been signed by both Theodore Roosevelt as President and William Taft (future president) as Secretary of War. The document has been framed and matted to an overall size of 20" x 24". Roosevelt appoints Edwin Culyer McNeil as Second Lieutenant Infantry. It has been dated January 4, 19808. The document has a fully intact blue seal affixed to the lower left. In overall fine condition with rippling and foxing throughout, the appearance of which have been minimized with the nice matting. Authenticated by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) with a full letter of authenticity.
