The 1972 World Chess Championship has been called the "Match of the Century", between American Bobby Fischer and defending champion Boris Spassky, with Fischer ultimately taking the win. The hit musical "Chess", a Cold War satire, was based loosely on this match. Offered here is a seldom seen postcard from that event signed by champion Bobby Fisher in ballpoint pen. In fine condition with minor handling wear. Authenticated by Beckett/BAS with a full letter of authenticity.
