In 1966 many things were unknown about the growing sport of American football & the National Football League, even the name of their championship. With the AFL & NFL merging that year, the game would be publicly known at that time as “First AFL-NFL World Championship Game” or the “Supergame.” The NFL (now NFC) powerhouse Green Bay Packers led by Bart Starr & Vince Lombardi would take on the best from the AFL (now AFC) in the Kansas City Chiefs. Little did the League & it’s fans know, but the world's most watched single sporting game had been born, the Super Bowl. This spectacular team-signed 1966 Green Bay Packers reunion 8" x 10" photograph features 12 stunning signatures in blue felt tip pen, notables including: Herb Adderley, Donny Anderson, Willie Davis, Jerry Kramer, Willie Wood, Ray Nitschke, Bob Jeter, Max McGee, Bob Koronski, Carroll Dale, Fuzzy Thurston, and one other! Overall the the photo remains in good condition. Vintage NFL memorabilia has been on the rise, with merger type items such as this seeing a large spike recently.
