Harley-Davidson, founded at the turn of the 20th century by William S. Harley and his childhood friend Arthur Davidson, along with the help of Arthur's brother Walter, was one of only two major American motorcycle manufacturers to survive the Great Depression. It has survived ownership arrangements, periods of poor economic health and intense global competition to become one of the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer and an iconic brand widely known for its loyal following. Offered here is an original September 28, 1927 document between the Harley-Davidson Motor Company and Leon J. Landry of Franklin, Massachusetts. Offering the right to purchase from Harley Davidson Motor Company "such Nineteen Hundred Twenty-Eight Model Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, Sidecars, Parcelcars, and Chassis, as it may desire to sell for resale in the territory hereinafter designated at prices and on terms and conditions following [listed below]". Signed at the conclusion by Arthur Davidson confirming the deal between the two parties. Overall in fine condition with minor discoloration along the horizontal folds. Authenticated by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) with a full letter of authenticity.
