Offered here is a 16" x 20" one page appointment, Dated March 21st, 1908 that has been signed by both Theodore Roosevelt and William Taft. This is a rare document signed by two Presidents. Taft signed this document prior to his Presidency, as the Secretary of War under Roosevelt. The document is promoting Edward Nicoll Woodbury to serve as Second Lieutenant of Coast Artillery.
