This document, signed by John Hancock, the first signer of the Declaration of Independence, is a promissory note "to pay to Mr. Peter Prim or Order 27 pounds value rec'd as to advice from Sir your most humb serv't Nick Churchill". Signed on the reverse by John Hancock, along with Peter Prim and Henry Atkins. In overall fine condition with one vertical crease and rough edges. This is a handsome example of the original John Hancock's "John Hancock"! Authenticated by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) with a full Letter of Authenticity.
