With only three other examples known to surface in the last twenty years, it is safe to assume there are very few of these laying around. This particular sheet music copy is easily the best known example to surface with no visible creases or tears to the cover. Lou Gehrig has signed over his right forearm in fountain tip pen, '8' or better. 'I Can't Get To First Base With You' from 1935 is notably hard to locate even unsigned, let alone autographed by Gehrig, making this item highly desired by a wide range of collectors. A great display piece for a Yankee or Gehrig collector(s). The sheet music is in NM condition and is pre-certified by PSA/DNA and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from JSA authentication.
