"Nuthin' Fancy" is the third studio album by the iconic Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, released in March 1975. It was their first to reach the top 10, peaking at number 9 on the U.S. album chart. It was certified gold on June 27, 1975, and platinum on July 21, 1987, by the RIAA. This was the band's first record with new drummer Artimus Pyle. In late May 1975, guitarist Ed King left the band in the middle of their "Torture Tour." The album is best known for its only single, "Saturday Night Special," an anti-gun song that peaked at #27 on the U.S. Billboard chart.
Offered here is an original pressing of the album, handsomely signed across the cover by all seven (7) band members at the time of the album's release. Headed up by Ronnie Van Zandt, other signers include Billy Powell, Gary Rossington, Leon Wilkeson, Ed King, Allen Collins and Artimus Pyle (who debuted with the band on this album). Album cover exhibits moderate handling wear along the edges and some scattered surface impressions. In overall very good condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA). Note that it has been brought to our attention that the list of signers on the JSA LOA is inaccurate, and we are in the process of acquiring a corrected LOA which will be provided to the winning bidder.
