This 9.75" x 14.5" Document, dated July 1st, 1783, has been inscribed "Payez" and personally signed by Marie Antoinette. This document directs the Treasurer General at the Ministry of Finance to pay a sum of 300 livres, signed in the lower left by the queen Marie Antoinette. The letter has also been secretarially endorsed in the lower right. Additionally, there are pencil marks and notations from a previous collector. The letter has light toning to the edges and a single horizontal crease, but remains in fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services.
