This is a remarkably visual, 8" x 10" photograph of the Hall of Famer and 500 HR Club member in his New York Giants uniform, that has been brilliantly signed, "To Howard Hetzler, Mel Ott" ("10") in blue fountain pen on his right shoulder. The clarity and contrast of the intense photo (which was printed as the inside front cover of the February 1934 issue of Baseball Magazine) make the item a very special display piece. The addition of the bold, crisp autograph has taken the relic to the highest level of desirability. Some trivial impressions are present along the lower left edge, otherwise this image displays very fine. Attractively custom matted and framed and ready for immediate display!
