Released in March of 1986, "Master of Puppets" is not just one of the greatest metal albums of all-time, but is regularly found on lists of the greatest rock albums ever made. Having become the first metal album to achieve platinum status, it successfully challenged and redefined the mainstream of heavy metal. We're proud to offer here an early pressing of this iconic album beautifully hand signed along the reverse of the cover in black and silver felt tip marker by James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and the late Cliff Burton. While any early group signed Metallica album is rare, group signed copies of "Master of Puppets" are of exceptional rarity as bassist Cliff Burton passed away just a mere six months after the album's release. The cover exhibits some minor handling wear along the edges and some light surface rubbing, none of which detract's from the album's overall fine appearance, with the signatures on the back of the cover standing strong. The original vinyl record in included. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
