A unique and highly visual piece of Michael Jordan memorabilia, presented here is a massive 66" x 30" acrylic painting featuring a colorful artistic interpretation of Jordan's two favorite sports, basketball and golf, accomplished by renowned Chicago area artist Gregory Cove. In 1993, this painting along with two others (another which is featured within this auction) were commissioned by Jordan and his group of investors for use in the Michael Jordan Restaurant in Chicago. Upon completion, this painting was prominently displayed within the Jordan restaurant, where it was remained during the restaurant's entire existence from 1993 through 1999.

Upon the restaurant's closure in 1999, this painting was acquired by a savvy collector who wisely arranged to have Jordan sign it through his exclusive signing agent, Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA). Jordan has placed a beautiful bold black felt tip marker signature across a light area of the painting, with the signature easily rating a solid "10" in quality and appearance.

Accompanied by extensive provenance, including two detailed letters from the artist (one which details a professional re-touch done by Cove to repair a small puncture in the canvas) attesting to the origins of the painting as well as a COA from Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA).(Note: Due to the size and fragile nature of the painting extra shipping charges should be expected)
